Valery Mikhailovich Mogilnitsky’s new book “Nameless Tulips” is a continuation of his famous works about the great prisoners of Karlag “Stars of the Gulag”, “Black Roses of the Marshal”, “Without Bowing His Head”, “In the Valley of Tears”, “Great Prisoners of Karlag”. It contains essays by the writer of recent years, which were published in the newspapers “Trud”, “Country and World”, “Kazakhstanskaya Pravda”, “Industrial Karaganda”, “Temirtau Worker”, as well as in the magazines “Niva”, “Prostor”, “ Astana-plus”, “Bai-Terek”. The author of the book has been working in print for more than fifty years, a member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR and the Republic of Kazakhstan, an academician of the International Academy of Informatization, a laureate of numerous creative competitions, an honorary citizen of the city of Zhezkazgan. By Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev in 2011 was awarded the medal “Eren enbegi ushin” (“For Labor Distinction”). In 2013 he was awarded the honorary international award “Saint Sophia”, and in 2014 - the prestigious international award “Intelligence of the Nation” (1st degree in the program “Leaders of the 21st Century”). The book is dedicated to the memory of victims of political repression. The publication is intended for the general reader.
