Remaining in the occupied capital of Soviet Ukraine, Pyotr Solovyov ends up in a fascist prisoner of war camp. Having rallied like-minded people around him and established contacts with underground fighters, he organizes an escape from the camp. Now Soloviev is the commander of a partisan detachment. Having rescued Yakov Dzhugashvili, Stalin’s son, from the Darnitsa concentration camp, the “Victory” detachment travels through the occupied territories to the Bryansk region, daily making its feasible contribution to the overall victory in the war against the Nazis. Meanwhile, the Abwehr is making attempts to return a valuable hostage in the person of Stalin’s son, and the hunt begins for Solovyov’s detachment.
