“The Tale of Manas” is the original work of the modern bilingual writer Mar Baidzhiev. In form, it represents a poetic adaptation of the first part of the trilogy of the Kyrgyz folk epic “Manas”, “Semetey”, “Seytek”. The legend is based on versions of the outstanding folk storytellers-Manaschi Sagynbay Orozbakov, Sayakbay Karalaev, Bagysh Sazanov and Shaabay Azizov. It is recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic as an educational textbook.
