Twenty years ago, one of the most powerful states in world history, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, was destroyed. The empire, which occupied one sixth of the land, with advanced science and industry, a powerful army and navy, disappeared. An empire that all world powers reckoned with. The Union was not only plundered by external and internal enemies, but also posthumously slandered by them. This happened on December 8, 1991 in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, where the so-called Belovezhskaya Agreements were signed. These agreements were ratified by the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR on December 12, 1991. Out of two hundred and fifty deputies, only seven voted against ratification: S. N. Baburin, V. A. Balala, V. B. Isakov, P. A. Lysov, I. V. Konstantinov, N. A. Pavlov, S. A. Polozkov. Seven out of two hundred and fifty! In an atmosphere of colossal pressure and threats, these people were not afraid and acted as they saw fit, as their conscience dictated! They were the last who fought for the USSR, who fought for their Motherland! Twenty years later, our heroes talk about those dramatic events, analyze the consequences of the destruction of the USSR, predict scenarios for the future of Russia. For everyone who is interested in the history of the USSR, Russia, who is not indifferent to the fate of our Fatherland .
