This is the second book in a series of historical studies by T. Kalyandruk about the glorious military exploits of the Ukrainian “knights of the spirit”, which began in “The Secrets of the Martial Arts of Ukraine”. The book illuminates little-studied pages of Ukrainian history, mythology, culture, and reveals in a new way the essence of the fighting spirit and military art of the Ukrainian people through the ancient traditions of military combat training and the beliefs of our ancestors. The book also contains unique illustrated material collected from a variety of ancient and modern sources, illustrations for publications of past years, fragments of frescoes, graffiti and relief images, drawings, photographs, etc. The book will be of interest to researchers of history, culture, military training, and also for everyone who is not indifferent to the past and present of their native land.
