This research is interdisciplinary - it is both historical and legal. On the one hand, the author has selected quite interesting facts from the life of a number of historical figures, including materials from the archives of the foreign policy of the USSR, as well as the foreign intelligence service. The book contains interesting quotes from the memoirs of certain political leaders. On the other hand, the author, being a specialist in the field of international law, he does not limit himself to a simple statement of certain facts and information, but subjects them to a thorough legal analysis. Purpose of the study: to establish whether the corresponding actions of these historical figures can be qualified as acts of collaboration, that is, as deliberate actions directed against the interests of their own state and people, but beneficial to other countries. In the chapter dedicated to the famous fighter for Indian independence S.Ch. Bosu, the author goes beyond a simple legal assessment of Bosu's actions. We are talking about secret negotiations between the USSR and Nazi Germany on military cooperation directed against Great Britain. These negotiations were not successful, but were quite meaningful. In the same chapter, the author tries to investigate the mysterious disappearance of S.Ch. Bose, including studying the hypothesis that he was captured by the Soviets. S.Ch. Bose collaborated with the Nazis, for which he is sometimes considered a collaborator. But what about his closest ally in the national liberation struggle, Mahatma Gandhi? The author believes that Gandhi secretly collaborated with the British, essentially destroying the movement for Indian independence. In the corresponding chapter of the book, the author provides facts that, in his opinion, confirm this point of view. According to the author, the biography of Charles de Gaulle was also flawed; he also tainted himself by collaborating with other states, while acting to the detriment of the interests of France. The author examines in detail the period of de Gaulle's activity from the territory of Great Britain and under its auspices, trying to legally accurately assess the actions of the future president of France. The author also touches on some facts from the biography of General Vlasov, who collaborated with the Nazis. Perhaps these facts do not quite fit into the generally accepted version of the traitor general. A separate chapter is devoted to Mikhail Gorbachev. The author believes that he was able to legally prove that in a number of significant historical episodes (including the State Emergency Committee, the Belovezhskaya Conspiracy and the collapse of the USSR, the unification of the two Germanys, the delimitation with the United States in the Bering Sea, etc.) Gorbachev deliberately acted to the detriment of his interests his own country, but to the benefit of other states, that is, he was a real collaborator, and not a conscientiously mistaken romantic politician.
