Ruining the lives of others and their own, often acting in justice and not according to the law, the guys from the criminal investigation department solved murders, prevented terrorist attacks and freed prisoners. This book is a true story about the tragic events of the Chechen war, based on what the author, Konstantin Zakutaev, saw and experienced , at that time a seconded operational officer of the Vologda police, and his comrades.
