Having gone on a business trip, our contemporary journalist Mikhail Krynnikov gets into a car accident. Coming to his senses, he discovers that he has been transported to the past. December 1914, the First World War, later called the “Great”, is underway. Having gone to the front as a volunteer, Mikhail gradually gets used to and gets used to the realities of the early twentieth century, participates in hostilities, becomes a fighter in a reconnaissance company. However, six months later, Krynnikov notices that the events are not happening the way he remembers it, someone powerful is clearly trying to change the course of history. Who is this unknown person? Will Mikhail be able to stop his plans? And what future awaits the volunteer in the Great War?!

Михайло Кринніков, наш сучасник, потрапляє у вир подій, які змінили хід історії, і його перетворення з журналіста на бійця розвідроти вражає своєю правдоподібністю. Я відчував, як разом з ним переживаю всі труднощі та небезпеки фронту, а також емоції, які супроводжують війну. Особливо вразила інтрига навколо невідомого, який намагається змінити хід історії - це додало сюжету динаміки та напруги. Книга не лише розважає, але й змушує задуматися про важливість історії та нашого місця в ній. Рекомендую всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами фантастики!
