The work “Your hour has come!” is an unpublished and more recent version of the historical novel Sharp Your Sword, plucked from the depths of the Internet. The novel “Sharp Your Sword” was published in three publishing houses: “Book” in 1989, “Soviet Library” in 1990, “Voenizdat” in 1992. In the first and second editions, the novel consisted of three separate books. The third, apparently, also contains three books, but under a single cover. Why did the author change the title and add a fourth book? Why didn't you re-release it again? It is unlikely that clear answers can be obtained to these questions today. However, there is an address: Russia, Tver region, Volkovo village, Fedor Fedorovich Shakhmagonov... The leitmotif of the novel gives rise to some thoughts about non-publication: “Sharpen your sword, Russian man, otherwise your Fatherland will be stolen!” In our time, oh how relevant! In general, in the novel “Sharp Your Sword!”, based on facts and documents, Shakhmagonov introduces his new concepts and interpretations of the Time of Troubles, defending them in the historical essay “Paradoxes of the Time of Troubles.” The figure of False Dmitry I is examined in a new way, who, after the death of Ivan the Terrible, according to the author, was brought to the throne by the Roman Catholic Church with the help of the Jesuits.
