The story of the adventures of the brave captain Crocus and his friends - the famous circus clown Coco, the lion Nero, the musical pig Peach and many others - is a fairy tale. It tells about a huge city ruled by such cruel, greedy people that they decide to ban all “living” animals: trained elephants and domestic dogs, donkeys and cats, rabbits and lions - and turn them all into dull, clockwork automata. The cheerful clown is declared a criminal, because cheerful laughter is prohibited in the city, old fairy tales are canceled, and finally canceled childhood itself: all children must take speed courses and, together with a Diploma of Ending Childhood, receive the title of Little Adults.
