The fourth book “On Existence” explains that the reason for perceiving the separateness of the world is the mind, and with the realization of Brahman, the mind loses its power and the world is seen as the Reality of Brahman. Desires and aspirations arising in the mind are the cause of repeated rebirths in the endless wheel of samsara. Wrong identification of oneself with something limited (body, thoughts, actions, etc.) alone is the cause of all suffering. Misidentification is cured by correct understanding.
