Bob, a physicist by training, once led research and design work in the field of technology. Worked as a UN expert on technical assistance for a year in Thailand. In 1975, at the age of fifty-five, he received his second doctorate, this time in psychology, and has since worked as a psychotherapist, specializing in families and couples.
