In this story, a young man working in an emergency hospital tells us about a woman-mountain whose, contrary to all the ideas of Descartes, had a dominant slogan: “I eat, therefore I exist.” Everyone knows that sometimes people overeat stress. And then they simply become slaves to their habits and are unable to break the vicious circle. As events unfold and become acquainted with some facts from the past, the young man, who at the beginning openly mocked the “mountain woman,” begins to be amazed at the skill with which this woman’s husband finds a way out of this almost hopeless situation.
