François Brun was born in 1931 in Ur (Eure). After receiving a bachelor's degree in Latin and Greek and classical philology, he undergoes an additional 4-year study and receives a diploma in Latin and Greek from the Sorbonne. After six years of study at the Catholic Institute in Paris and the University of Tübingen and studying ancient languages (Hebrew , hieroglyphic Egyptian and Assyro-Babylonian) received an invitation to remain teaching at the Catholic Institute and was ordained in 1960. In 1964, François Brun received a licentiate in the Holy Scriptures at the Biblical Institute in Rome. Then, as a professor, he taught dogmatics and Holy Scripture for 7 years (Nantes, Rodez, Bayo). In parallel, he continues to study the tradition of Eastern Christianity (Orthodox churches, mystics of the West and East). In 1988, he published the book “The Dead Tell Us,” which was a resounding success, and takes part in the research committee of the French branch of I.A.N.D.S. (International Organization for Near-Death Research). Member of research organizations in Luxembourg and Germany on the topic of “transcommunication”[1].
