Two friends, Slavka and Denis, thought for a long time about whether the one-eyed, deaf-mute Kasyan was a sorcerer or not. There was a very significant reason for such reasoning - there was a bad rumor about Kasyan in the village, but most importantly, Slava saw with his own eyes how in the sorcerer’s yard a huge haystack moved from place to place without outside help! Could Kasyan really be able to move objects with his eyes or was it just the boy’s imagination? The friends decided to figure it all out and watch the suspicious person, but instead they suddenly became prisoners of an underground bunker, the secret entrance to which was right in Kasyan’s yard! It all looked like a scary fairy tale - a dungeon illuminated by the glow of gold bars, and in its depths - the mysterious Seraphim “soul” and a prisoner of the ominous labyrinth. Slavka and Denis understood perfectly well that whoever was the owner of the criminal treasures would have no need for extra witnesses, but they could not get out of the trap and expected reprisals with horror.
