The novel is based on real events: in the fall of 1787 in Prague, Giovanni Giacomo Casanova and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart met. The great composer is working on “Don Giovanni” - an opera of operas, but he is dissatisfied: the librettist made the main character too vulgar, the singers are quarreling , and Mozart never manages to finish the score. Casanova sets himself the goal of improving the opera, even if this means entangling all the characters in a network of intrigue. Gradually, the destinies of the novel's heroes intertwine with the destinies of the opera characters, and magical music reigns over everything...
