Lola is more addictive than the need for tobacco.  Feeling her warm body, the touch of her skin... even if it was accidental, I gave in.  The monster inside me is going to destroy her.  I'm too tired to fight him.  And, to be honest, I don't want to.  She knew she was risking everything  Lola  Why is he trying to ruin my ONLY chance at success?  My damn life?  I can't handle this attraction between us... an attraction that wants to bind our bodies together and bind me to him as one.  Destroy me.  I thought Dresden cared about his group, that he wouldn't dare do anything that would tear them - and me - to pieces.  When did I become the one for whom he could lose everything?
