Stacy O'Brien is a biologist who specializes in studying wildlife behavior. She completed her undergraduate studies at Occidental College and then went on to study at the California Institute of Technology, where she began researching owls. Stacy works as a wildlife rescuer and animal rehabilitation expert. On February 14, 1985, Stacy O'Brien met a four-day-old owlet with a broken wing and named him Wesley. They spent the next nineteen years together. Stacy had the unique opportunity to observe the life of a barn owl, study the bird's habits and behavior, and make incredible discoveries that amazed Caltech professors.
