"Велика книга жахів" - це справжня знахідка для любителів містики та пригод. Дві історії, що переплітаються, захоплюють з перших сторінок. У "Примари поряд з тобою" ми спостерігаємо за Вікою Баришевою, яка, разом зі своїми друзями, потрапляє у вир таємничих подій, пов'язаних із старовинним портретом. Напруга зростає, коли один за одним починають зникати її друзі, і Віка, озброєна талісманом від прабабусі, відважно вирушає на їх порятунок. Ця частина книги вражає своєю атмосферою та емоційною напругою. Друга історія "Механічні монстри" не менш захоплююча. Вона переносить нас у світ, де старий годинникар виявляється підступним чаклуном, а його механічні створіння стають справжніми жахіттями. Петька та його друзі, намагаючись знайти спосіб подолати чаклуна, стикаються з власними страхами, що робить цю частину ще більш інтригуючою. Автор майстерно створює напружену атмосферу, що тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Книга сповнена несподіваних поворотів, які змушують читача переживати разом з героями.
