On the eve of March 8, Tatyana Pavlovna, an art teacher, gives all her junior classes a special task: to draw a portrait of their mother. One of the students forgets the drawing and the teacher is forced to look for her around the school to return the gift. But what she finds is not what she expected. The story touches not only on the realities of life of provincial teachers, but also on serious topics: death, drug addiction, poverty, corruption, attitudes towards the female sex.
