Oleg Vyacheslavovich Gubenko - ataman of the Mineralovodsk department of the Terek Cossack army from 1998 to 2009. In 1996, he took part in hostilities as part of the 694th separate motorized rifle battalion named after General Ermolov, which was the only Cossack unit in the modern Russian Army. The history of the battalion is hidden behind seven seals; it is unknown to most people in Russia. If there is any information, it is very often distorted. The reader is invited to a collection of stories telling about events and people associated with the Ermolovsky battalion
