The case takes an unexpected turn when a document in Gaelic, the language of the Scottish Highlands, comes into the hands of the investigation. Jamie is forced to help Gray to keep his secrets. But Gray also keeps secrets that could deprive him of his freedom or his life. The novel is a spin-off from Outlander and will undoubtedly appeal to fans of this series.
