When something good and bright leaves a person’s life, and especially a child’s, it becomes hard and painful for him. This is what happened to the main character of this story. The girl he secretly loved was hit by a car. And she's now in a coma. If he doesn’t wake up in twenty-eight days, he’ll leave forever. But the boy, in addition to everything else, sees ghosts or his own glitches; he himself has not yet fully figured this out. And they tell him how to get the girl back, albeit at a significant risk. And Maxim, that’s the boy’s name, decides to follow her to where life and death converge, to a place called Interworld.
