The first half of the 17th century - England is on the verge of a civil war. Courts for political and church matters are in full swing. The grandson of the legendary “royal pirate” Amos Morgan, young and brave Andy Morgan, having entered the service of the all-powerful Bishop Laud, begins a new life full of adventures and dizzying twists of fate. The circumstances by which Andy Morgan became involved in the fight against the Puritans lead him first to the small town of Edenford, and then to North America. Having overcome many trials, having learned the bitterness of defeats and the joy of victories, the young man finds faith, love and a new home.
