The last release was the worst in the entire year and a half that I spent in the Zone. Limansk and the path to the dungeons of Pripyat disappeared forever. There is no way around Pripyat itself - only through the Brain Burner. Radioactive wastelands and endless fields of anomalies blocked the usual path to the Swamps, the Red Forest and many other places in the Zone that had become almost safe and inhabited. The sprout survived, as did the stalkers who took refuge in it. Now it's time to start all over again.
