American writer John Irving is a master of psychological prose and a brilliant screenwriter. Films based on his novels are on screens all over the world. This is the Oscar-winning “The World According to Garp” (“The World According to Garp” in our box office), and “Hotel New Hampshire”, and “The Cider House Rules” - Irving also received an Oscar for the screenplay for it, and director Lao Hallström was nominated for this award. Now they are working together on the film adaptation of the novel “The Fourth Hand”.
