The entire area is shocked by the terrible events that occurred at the Tower Motel. A woman named Amy brutally murdered her family and then committed suicide, leaving a cryptic inscription on an old photograph of her mother: “29 numbers.” The only survivor is her little daughter Lou, who managed to escape through a window and hide on the roof. Jason Hawk takes over the investigation. His wife Margot and her sister Piper were childhood friends with Amy. They loved playing at the Tower Motel, which always had 28 rooms. Jason senses that this is not without reason, and soon begins to suspect that Margot and Piper are hiding something.
