On the outskirts of the city, among the standard new buildings, there is the Gray House, in which the Sphinx, the Blind, the Lord, the Tabaki, the Macedonian, the Black and many others live. It is unknown whether the Lord really comes from a noble family of dragons, but the Blind Man is indeed blind, and the Sphinx is wise. Tabaki, of course, is not a jackal, although he loves to profit from other people's goods. Everyone in the House has their own nickname, and one day in it sometimes contains as much as we, in appearance, cannot live in a whole life. The House accepts or rejects everyone. The house keeps a lot of secrets, and the banal “skeletons in the closets” are only the most understandable corner of that invisible world, where there is no way out from the Outside, where the usual laws of space-time cease to apply. A house is something much more than a boarding school for children from whom parents refused. Home is their separate universe.
