Francine Prowse (1947), one of the most famous American writers, the author of more than two dozen books - novels, collections of stories, books for children and youth, essays, biographies. In the novel "A Changed Man" Francine Prowse seeks an answer to one of the most pressing questions of our time: what makes people join neo-Nazi organizations and what can prompt them to break with such movements. The hero of the novel, Vincent Nolan, in a difficult moment of his life joins the neo-Nazis, but, realizing that their path leads to a dead end, he goes to a charity Foundation "Worldwide Brotherhood Watch" and immediately states that its goal is "To help save people like me, so that they do not become people like me." For Nolan, the foundation is just an opportunity to get by while the trial and the case are in progress, but Holocaust survivor head of the foundation, civil rights activist Meyer Maslow and his staff welcome Nolan with open arms: not only because he can be a wonderful asset to their work, but also out of a sincere desire to help him. As a result of various twists and turns, by the end of the novel, not only Nolan, but also his other characters, including Meyer Maslow, will change.
