“The body you are in now was mine before.” So begins the note that Myfanwy Thomas finds when she wakes up in a London park and is surrounded by corpses wearing latex gloves. The girl realizes with horror that she has amnesia and the only way to restore her memory is to follow her own instructions in the note. Myfanwy soon learns that she is Rook, a high-ranking employee of the secret organization "Shahi", which protects Britain from supernatural threats. Trying to find out which of the “Shakhs” betrayed her and why, Myfanwy will be faced with a consciousness divided between four bodies; an aristocrat who knows how to penetrate other people's dreams; a secret training camp where capable children are turned into deadly killers, and... a conspiracy on a global scale. Based on the novel by Daniel O'Malley, a series of the same name was filmed in 2019 with Emma Greenwell in the title role.
