Six people are sitting at a luxurious restaurant table set for seven. Opposite the seventh, empty place, a sprig of rosemary stands alone. It commemorates Rosemary Barton, who died suddenly at this same table exactly one year ago. Unable to cope with depression, she poisoned herself with potassium cyanide.
