Seventeen-year-old Margot lives with her mother, a fairly famous theater actress with a difficult character, in one of the central districts of Paris. Her father, an influential French politician, has a different family, and he values his reputation very much. Margot is unbearable about the life of “invisibility” that she is forced to lead. It’s hard for her to realize that her father sees her only furtively, and she decides to tell her story to a journalist she knows, hoping that publicity will force her father to officially recognize her as his daughter and leave his wife. An article in the press unexpectedly and irreversibly changes the lives of the main characters.
