The concept of “split personality” is probably known to everyone. But what if there is not just a split personality living in one person, but two different people? And if we add a third to these two?

The famous athlete, rollerball player (something between motorball and roller skating) Steve Sutherland, nicknamed Snake, lives in Hardson City. He lives and does not know that in the city-state of Chipland a successful businessman and scientist Chris Jordan is thriving, outwardly an exact copy of himself. One day, Chris gets into an ekranoplane and goes on business to Hardson City, and Steve flies towards him. There is a collision, everyone dies, only one manages to escape... Who is he? Thus begins the turbulent story that the novel tells—a story full of adventure as well as reflections on human nature.
