The famous athlete, rollerball player (something between motorball and roller skating) Steve Sutherland, nicknamed Snake, lives in Hardson City. He lives and does not know that in the city-state of Chipland a successful businessman and scientist Chris Jordan is thriving, outwardly an exact copy of himself. One day, Chris gets into an ekranoplane and goes on business to Hardson City, and Steve flies towards him. There is a collision, everyone dies, only one manages to escape... Who is he? Thus begins the turbulent story that the novel tells—a story full of adventure as well as reflections on human nature.

Чудова книга, яка змушує задуматися про природу особистості!
Цей роман - справжня знахідка для тих, хто любить глибокі психологічні сюжети та захоплюючі пригоди. Автор майстерно грає з концепцією роздвоєння особистості, створюючи незвичайну ситуацію, в якій дві абсолютно різні людини виявляються в одному тілі. Сюжет наповнений напругою та інтригами, а також змушує читача задуматися про те, що насправді означає бути собою. Персонажі прописані дуже детально, і їхні переживання викликають співчуття та інтерес. Я з нетерпінням чекаю продовження, адже ця історія обіцяє ще більше захоплюючих поворотів і глибоких роздумів про людську природу. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує якісну літературу!
