The ability to enter hieroglyphs on any digital device from a computer to a smartphone, and a quick search for unfamiliar hieroglyphs in a dictionary dramatically speed up the development of “Chinese literacy.” The book is based on the author’s personal experience in independently mastering hieroglyphs and will be useful to everyone who decides to make an independent “journey to the east” into the world of Chinese hieroglyphs without a guide or teacher.
