Three short short stories, united under the title “Lover”, are in one collection for a reason. The theme of the lover runs like a clear thread through each of them. In the first, there is a love story between two seemingly different people: she is from the world of clear legal laws and neat stacks of documents, striving for comfort and harmony, he is from the world of big business, accustomed behave like a frivolous lover: get any woman and then forget about her. The second short story is small, but contains a colossal transformation of a modest waitress from a small town, who managed to overcome internal barriers and release the potential that had been held back for a long time. This happened thanks to the girl’s meeting with her lover, who, without knowing it, managed to push her to change. The third story tells about a woman who was disappointed in her husband and went into a free life, despite having three children. The lover managed to give long-forgotten emotions, but could not replace the feeling of reliability and warmth that was next to her husband.
