All world civilizations can be divided into four types - “river”, “mountain”, “sea” and “steppe”. Geographical and natural-climatic conditions determine a certain economic model of society, from which, in turn, grow certain forms of social relations and government structure. Depending on the form of social relations, a dominant ideology arises, which, in turn, shapes moral and ethical principles and mentality among people. It is they, transmitted through upbringing from generation to generation and embedded deeply in the subconscious, that determine the path of historical development of society.
