Marina Yasinskaya was born into a military family, so she often moved as a child: the North Caucasus, Siberia, Leningrad, the Baltic states, the Volga region. In 2002, she received degrees in law and translation and moved to the USA, then to Canada. She defended her dissertation and received a master's degree in law, now works in the criminal department of the Ministry of Justice. She began writing in 2006, preferring non-realistic prose. Regularly participates in online literary competitions, periodically winning prizes. He has more than fifty publications in various magazines and collections.
