Sergeant Ivan Kozhin, a Soviet parachutist who was parachuted into the German rear as part of a group in the fall of 1944, gets into trouble: his parachute does not open. In a way incomprehensible to him, he manages to survive and gets to the Czech partisans. He must understand what happened, believe in the impossible and in himself - only in this way will he save the people dear to him and become the “Night Eagle”, a lone saboteur, a threat to German headquarters and garrisons. For the first time, the story “Night Eagle” by Alexander Lomm (the author’s real name is Vaclav Nickname) was published in the newspaper “Pionerskaya Pravda”: part 1 - Nos. 91–96, 98-103 1965, Nos. 1–2, 4–6 1966; Part 2 - in 1966–1967 (drawings by L. Smekhov). In subsequent editions, for some unknown reason, the third part of this work, corresponding to the 2nd part of the newspaper publication, was missing. In this material, this part has been restored in full. The issues of the newspaper “Pionerskaya Pravda” used for this work were partially found on the Internet (2 issues), most of them were found through the reference department of the city of Severomorsk in the “Children and Youth Library” of the city of Murmansk and in the collection of the Newspaper Department of the RSL. I express my deep gratitude to Efimova S.P. for the assistance provided, without which the publication of this material would have been problematic. With respect to potential readers, Yuri Vladimirovich, 61 years old. Abstract: vladimirih52 The third part has been added!
