The publication of the memoirs of D. A. Zasosov and V. P. Pyzin was preceded by their partial publication in the literary adaptation of M. E. Abelin in the magazine “Neva” (1987-1989) under the title “Walking through Old Petersburg.”< /p>

This book is not a reprint of published texts. The publishing house offers the reader the author's edition of the manuscript, restored by the widow of V.I. Pyzin E.I. Voshchinina, with the exception of some chapters and pages left by her in the magazine version.
