The writer’s new book includes short stories and the novel “Izora’s Gift.” If the stories are built on the play of the psychological states of the heroes, then the philosophical story-experiment is driven by a clash of ideas, and ideas from the classical stock accumulated by the global development of thought. Plato, Montaigne, Nietzsche, Freud, V. Soloviev, N. Fedorov are indirectly involved in the plot, their ideas influence the behavior of two young heroes obsessed with the idea of achieving power.
