The Man from Scotland Yard was first published in 1932, the third book in the Evan Pinkerton Mystery series about the investigations of Mr. Evan Pinkerton. Books in this series are written by American writer Zenith Brown (nee Jones, 1889–1983) published under the pseudonym David Frome. She also used the pseudonyms Leslie Ford and Brenda Conrad. In Russian, “The Man from Scotland Yard” was published in “Foreign Detective”, vol. 6 (M.: “Voice”, 1992). From where in the Russian translation taken by the author Francis Frame, remains a detective mystery.
