This is the story of the craziest rock band in Germany. Kai Lutter, Michael Rhein, Rainer Morgenroth and Thomas Mund in the GDR were arrested right on stage. Their groups were considered anti-state, and their music was considered subversive. This was followed by bans on the game and government harassment. After the coup, they met medieval vagabonds Marco Żorzicki, André Strugal and Boris Pfeiffer. Together they founded IN EXTREMO, wrote songs with screeching bagpipes and crashing guitars and celebrated colossal success at night. Mexico, Argentina, Chile, the USA, even China - IN EXTREMO traveled the whole world and thundered with their creations Sängerkrieg and Sterneneisen at the top of the German charts. They have sold over one million records to date and their adventurous journey continues almost 20 years later.
