The book includes previously unpublished Notes of Boris Nikolaevich Abramov from 1954. Boris Nikolaevich Abramov (1897 - 1972), who lived for many years (1917 - 1959) abroad, in Harbin, was the closest student of Nicholas Roerich. Source of Records and Books of the Teaching of Living Ethics (Agni Yoga) – One. This was confirmed by Elena Ivanovna Roerich, who became acquainted with the first Records in the 40s. Later, Boris Nikolaevich also perceived the messages of Nikolai Konstantinovich and Helena Ivanovna Roerich: in the book they are marked with the words “Guru” and “M.A.Y.” (Mother of Agni Yoga) at the beginning of the relevant paragraphs.

When preparing the Notes for publication, the features of their style were preserved.

The book will be useful to readers in search of answers to questions about the purpose of a person and his responsibility before the Universe.

"... Understand work broadly. It is the fiery tension that accompanies the work that will give the required degree of luminosity. By the degree of this luminosity one can determine the usefulness of both the work and the worker. Such a pile is a blessing for space, for it dispels the surrounding darkness. Blessed is the work that generates light, no matter who creates it. We value the glow-worm workers and help them in their bright work. We help the scientist, the engineer, and the worker in their work for the healing of the planet. According to chiaroscuro, the selection of spirits into the camp of Light takes place. You need to love work as such and you can train yourself to do any work joyfully, even boring, even uninteresting and even alien to the spirit. This is the discipline of work. Let us only protect ourselves from misanthropic work. Joy in work is an achievement of the spirit. Let us work brightly and joyfully, no matter what our work may be. It is better to live a hard life with a song than to drown in an excess of deadened satiety."
