Deciding to earn a little extra money in the summer, 17-year-old Kelsey Hayes gets a job as an assistant in a small traveling circus. Her responsibilities include, among other things, caring for the circus's main celebrity, a white tiger named Diren, with whom Kelsey literally falls in love at first sight. The tiger is so beautiful that when her work at the circus comes to an end, Kelsey doesn’t want to part with him. Therefore, she easily agrees to accompany the tiger during its transportation to India.
