The famous Hollywood actress Elizabeth Grant wakes up one day in an unfamiliar place. The last thing the girl remembers is how she, along with her colleagues in the film workshop, boarded a plane heading from London to Berlin. It later turns out that she and sixty-two other passengers on the flight were kidnapped by unknown assailants. Sandra Smith, one of the mysterious kidnappers, tells the hostages that they were kidnapped for only one purpose: so that they, as the best representatives of the film industry, while isolated from the outside world, would create a film masterpiece. The strange demands of the criminals leave Elizabeth and her friends confused. Who would have thought of committing a crime of this magnitude for the sake of a movie? Maybe their captivity is imaginary, and they all just ended up on a reality show? Or are the hostages really in danger if they ignore the ultimatum of the main kidnapper, whom everyone abstractly calls the Customer?

Історія про Елізабет Грант та її колег, які опинилися в пастці через викрадення, змушує задуматися про цінність мистецтва та креативності в умовах екстремальних обставин. Персонажі прописані дуже яскраво, і їхні взаємини розвиваються у цікавий спосіб, що робить читання ще більш захоплюючим. Я не міг відірватися від книги, адже кожна сторінка була сповнена несподіваних поворотів та інтриг. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить нестандартні сюжети та хоче поринути в світ кіно з нової перспективи!
