The creative experience of the young author is, so to speak, a “test of the pen.” The author turns to the detective genre, which cannot but intrigue the reader, and yet the main thing in the novel is not the detective plot, but the inner experiences of the heroine. The author tried to draw the reader's attention to the personal conflict of his heroine: a conflict with herself and at the same time with society, in which she is forced to deny herself the joy of being real.
