Simo Matavul (1852-1908), Ivo Čipiko (1869-1923), Borisav Stanković (1875-1927) are the largest representatives of critical realism in Serbian literature of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The book includes the novels by S. Matavul “Bakonya fra Brne”, I. Čipiko “Spiders” and B. Stanković “Bad Blood”.
