A duology depicting the period of the Clone Wars, not exactly from an unexpected, but still from a rather unusual side. The main characters were not Jedi, not soldiers or mercenaries, but ordinary, in general, doctors setting up their mobile hospitals right in the combat zone. A surgeon masking his despair behind caustic witticisms; the Zabrak doctor who stares death in the face with his head held high, pouring out his feelings in beautiful music; a nurse who is passionate about her work as well as her doctor colleague; Padawan healer, sent on a mission without a teacher for the first time... All of them are a tiny team of field doctors, sent to the remote, although quite important planet Drongar, where the battle for the possession of an invaluable medicinal plant is raging, and medical evacuators are constantly transporting wounded soldiers - how clones and ordinary soldiers. And while some are fighting for the lives of the survivors, others are quietly profiting from the war - both through black market operations and by manipulating the course of the battles themselves. But in the end, everyone faces their own test, and not everyone is destined to survive...
