Meet Hope Spencer, a big-city reporter who's tired of prying into real people's lives and decided she'd be much better off writing something fictional from start to finish. Now reality is just a starting point for Hope, and the journalist can't wait to see new places, new people and have new experiences that she can turn into a well-paid fictional story. The unusually handsome sheriff of Gospel Town, Idaho, reminds Hope that reality has its advantages, although Dylan Taber's superb physique and country boy charm are too good to be true. Lies can be useful, but even Hope knows that they are not a good basis for a relationship. And yet, there is one thing that Hope is absolutely sure of: Dylan is no more willing to reveal his secrets by making a sincere confession. He doesn't want to yet.
