“Dance Player in a Foreign Car” is a script written based on the memoirs of the same name by D.F. Loza, biographies of A.V. Ionov, materials from TsAMO, the local history museum in Zheleznodorozhny, the Central Museum of Armored Vehicles in Kubinka and the Tank Museum in Bovington. The plot and chronology are based on real events and the combat path of the 46th Guards Tank Brigade, which fought on British and American tanks. All tank crew names are kept in the original. The author of the script conducted reconnaissance on the ground in Hungary (Budapest, Haimashker, Lake Balaton) and Austria (Vienna, Schönbrunn Park, Mistelbach). According to the description in the memoirs, it was possible to find the place where D.F.’s tank was hit on the approach to the city of Mistelbach. Vine, and my grandfather A.V.
